OIE reported African swine fever virus (ASF).

OIE reported African swine fever virus (ASF).

OIE reported rabies in a dog in Chester County, Pennsylvania. The imported dog developed signs of rabies 3 days after importation into the United States. The dog was infected with a canine rabies virus variant that has been previously reported in Azerbaijan. The exposed animals are being closely monitored under quarantine, 20% of the animals did not show an expected response to booster vaccination and CDC continues to investigate reasons for vaccine failure in these animals.
