OIE reported foot and mouth disease (FMD) serotype O in East Jabalia. The flock didn’t have booster dose during quarantine, and due to shortage in vaccine supply, the suspected population (sheep, goat, cattle) in Gaza Strip didn’t get vaccinated against FMD since last year.

OIE reported highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) in Avalon Peninsula. H5N1 virus was detected on an exhibition farm with multiple bird species (chicken, turkeys, emus, geese, ducks, guinea fowl and peafowl) and multiple mammalian species.
