OIE reported low pathogenic avian influenza (LPAI) H5N1 in Aalborg, West. The virus was detected during surveillance in a commercial poultry holding with organic laying hens.

A simulation exercise to practice undertaking Rapid Risk Assessments (RRA) in response to an outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF) is taking place simultaneously in Australia and the United Kingdom (UK) from 29 January to 31 January 2020
