OIE reported highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 in Village of Mondoukou.  Samples were taken from 3 out of 39 farms in village of Mondouko and found to be positive for the H5N1 virus. The remaining 36 farms showed the same symptoms as the three farms that were diagnosed and also experienced mortality. Overall, the mortality observed was around 56.7% affecting various species, incl. broilers, layers, guinea fowl, ducks, turkeys, quails.
