OIE reported highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) virus H5N8 in Hessen, found in different bird species in a wildlife reserve.

OIE reported the first occurrence of sheep and goat pox (SGPV) in the country, found in Thimphu, in the area surrounding the Chagri Monastery. SGPV was identified in Himalayan brown goral, protected species grazing around the monastery. Domestic goats intermixing with the gorals are suspected to be affected but could not be tested due to lockdown.
