WOAH reported African swine fever (ASF) in wild boar in Campania. 

WOAH reported highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N5 in racoon on Prince Edward Island. This is the first reported case of HPAI H5N5 in mammals in Canada. We previously reported wild birds with wholly Eurasian H5N5 from Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick (event 4754). Two raccoons were found dead. The virus contains wholly Eurasian genome segments.
