The Idaho Department of Health and Welfare has reported the first human cases of West Nile virus (WNV) of the year, both in Washington County. So far this year, WNV activity has been detected in 10 counties.

The Department of Public Health and Wellness reported a human case of West Nile virus (WNV) in Louisville. It’s the first human case of the virus in Louisville in 2019.
