WOAH reported bovine babesiosis on a cattle farm in Dura, West Bank.

WOAH reported rabies virus in a four-year-old dog in a shelter in Evry-Courcouronnes, Essonne. The animal showed the first signs on 19 October and died on 25 October, it remained alone in the shelter, during that period. No other animal in the shelter showed any signs of rabies. The dog may have been illegally imported from Morocco.

The General Directorate of Food and Control of the Republic of Turkey informed WOAH that the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry will conduct a joint real-scale simulation exercise on peste des petits ruminants (PPR) to maintain the response skills of veterinary services. The exercise will take place from 1 to 3 November 2022 in Istanbul and will include table-top and field exercises.
