WOAH reported highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 in greylag goose at the lake Ludoško jezero.

WOAH reported highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI) H5N1 in Prešovský in a non-commercial backyard holding with ducks and laying hens. 

The Committee of Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, informed WOAH that the veterinary services will conduct a simulation exercise on foot and mouth disease (FMD) on 26th January 2023 at “B.Konysbayev” customs checkpoint, Saryagash district, Turkestan region. A theoretical and practical training of staff members will exercise and test the warning capacity, early response organisation, management, and organisation of the Official Veterinary Service.
