PPR Global Research and Expertise Network (PPR-GREN) Thermotolerant Vaccine Meeting

Organized by the FAO/OIE PPR Secretariat, this virtual meeting aims to inform everyone interested in PPR control, from researchers to those implementing vaccination programs, and provide updates with regard to thermotolerance of peste des petits ruminants (PPR) vaccines. The event will be held online on 23 April 2021 (10-12 AM GMT) and the recording will be available afterwards.

Organizers about the event:

“The meeting is expected to result in PPR control stakeholders being better informed about the characteristics of the currently available thermotolerant PPRV vaccines, which will allow informed decision-making about utilisation of thermotolerant vaccines versus conventional vaccines for PPR control programmes. In addition, future research needs in relation to thermotolerant vaccines might be identified. The virtual meeting will be recorded and made publicly available.”
