OIE reported that the Nordic and Baltic Countries – Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Sweden and Faroe Islands – will jointly conduct a simulation exercise on foot and mouth disease (FMD) from 13 to 14 November 2019 in Vilnius, Lithuania. The objectives include training on FMD emergency vaccination programmes and exit strategies.
