The Committee for Veterinary Control and Surveillance of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan informed WOAH that the veterinary services will conduct a simulation exercise on foot and mouth disease (FMD) from 26 to 28 October 2022 in Novoivanovka village, North Kazakhstan region.

The National Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Moldova informed WOAH that a tabletop simulation exercise on avian influenza will take place in Chisinau from 27 to 28 October 2022, at the Disease Control Center (DCC) level. The aim of the exercise is to test and evaluate the effectiveness of the contingency plan and improve the ability to respond in an event of an outbreak.
