World Neglected Tropical Diseases Day (WNTDD) 2022 – online event

A virtual event organized by WHO to mark this year’s World Neglected Tropical Diseases Day (WNTDD, 30 January 2022). The event will be held online on 26 January 2022 14:00–15:00 (CET) and will focus on ‘Achieving health equity to end the neglect of poverty-related diseases’.

Excerpt from the event website:

WNTDD is an opportunity to re-energize the momentum to end the suffering from these 20 diseases that are caused by a variety of pathogens including viruses, bacteria, parasites, fungi and toxins. The day provides an opportunity to focus on the millions of people who have limited or no access to prevention, treatment and care services.
